Gütermann Mara 120 is a premium all-purpose sewing thread designed for superior stitches and a flawless seam appearance. Thanks to its unique Micro Core Technology, this thread is highly durable, lint-free and stable, with a beautiful silky gloss. It is especially suitable for fine to medium-weight fabrics, including knits, swimwear and activewear.
Each spool contains 1000 metres of thread made from 100% polyester and is washable up to 60°C. The available colours are carefully selected to match many of the fabrics in our shop. Gütermann Mara rPET is the sustainable alternative in this product line. This thread is made from 100% recycled polyester, derived from PET beverage bottles. The bottles are washed, shredded into flakes, melted, and processed into microfilaments — forming the basis of this eco-friendly thread with the same high-quality sewing properties as the original Mara 120: smooth, lint-free, strong, and consistent.
