This baby rib jersey (knitted in the Ottoman style) is stretchable with the rib in the width. Because it is a knitted fabric, the fabric has a bi-stretch. The width of the fabric is more stretchy than the length of the fabric. The composition also contains elastane, which ensures that the fabric returns to its shape after stretching. The fabric is double dyed, which means that it is dyed twice, which creates extra intense colors. Compact Yarn yarn has been used (twisted into a very small rotating triangle), which gives yarns better strength, better stretch and better quality. Compact yarn (strongly plied), pills less than loose yarn (with little twist).
The fabric is suitable for sewing various items of clothing, such as a cardigan or pants, but certainly also nice for a shawl, baby nest, playpen blanket or baby blanket, for example.
The shrinkage of these fabrics will be approximately 5-7% (270g/m2).
