Boucle fabric / curly teddy is a knitted fabric with a luxurious appearance.
This fabric is soft, warm and dirt-repellent! This is the perfect fabric for a stylish coat, jacket, blazer or dress, for example. Due to the irregular structure, the fabric is not 'sensitive' to mistakes, making it very suitable for the novice seamstress.
For an extra beautiful finish, use a poplin or jersey as a lining. You can use regular polyester sewing thread or overlock thread for this fabric. A universal needle with gauge 80 or 90 is fine.
This fabric is also beautiful to decorate your home. Think of living cushions, covering an ottoman or armchair or other home accessories.
